Tonight I made steak with chimichurri sauce, buttered carrots with parsley and corn on the cob. Apparently chimichurri is a common sauce in South America, and it has an interesting flavor. The other 2 recipes are fairly self-explanatory but delicious nonetheless.

With today's completed recipes, I've made 35 recipes, and tomorrow is week 2 of the project. Time flies when you're having fun, right? Oh, and here's a picture of my constant cooking companion, Gretchen the Beagle. She lays beneath my feet while I'm cooking every recipe, hoping to get a taste of whatever I'm making. Goodnight!
