Don't Hate, Congratulate!

Ok, I knew once I started this project that it wasn't going to be easy to cook every single day; life is busy and making 3 recipes daily isn't always realistic.  Having made these statements, I have to let you know that I am not cooking tonight.  I can't.  I know I took Tuesday off too, but hey, that's just how it goes.  I'm just keeping it real, yo.  Dan is working tonight because the New Boyz are in town (their song is "You're a Jerk" and their new CD is "Skinny Jeanz and a Mic").  (By the way, you can check out the New Boyz at http://www.thenewboyz.com/.)  One of my kiddos has a cold and keeps getting out of bed.  My eyes just want to go to sleep, and my throat is sore.  Plus, my kitchen is still a disaster from cooking the 4 recipes last night.  If you don't believe me, check these pics out...

The good news is that I have to cook around 6 recipes tomorrow because we have a dinner guest coming over.  Appetizers, salad, entree and dessert were promised so I have to follow through no matter how much I don't feel up to it.  Plus, I figure I'll make up for occasional days off with all of the extra recipes I'll be making at Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I have a year to accomplish this so I have to cut myself a break from time to time to keep my sanity in tact. I feel the need to explain myself because my guilt factor is way too high.
