E.coli Breakout = Only 2 Recipes Made

Due to a breakout of E.coli in our town water system, I only made 2 recipes tonight. Why does E.coli have anything to do with my cooking, you may ask? Well, not being able to use the tap water makes it kind of difficult to wash the 5,000 dishes, measuring spoons and cups that I need to make 3 recipes. I barely made it through 2 recipes. Plus, I'm tired, cranky and just want to go to sleep. Looks like tomorrow will be another 4-recipe day...

I made cookie crust and pastry cream tonight, and the combo is out of this world! The cookie crust tastes just like a sugar cookie, and the pastry cream is glorious. I added sliced bananas after I filled the crust with the pastry cream. Dan just cut us each a slice; we're on the "Martha Diet."
